Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You run a Miracast session on a device that is running Windows 10, version 1903, 1909, or 2004.

You have the June 9, 2020 cumulative monthly or security-only update or a later update installed.

You are disconnected from an active Miracast session.

The Miracast banner is showing on your screen. Additionally, the Settings and Pin icons are not available.
In this scenario when you try to manually reconnect to the Miracast session a second time by clicking the Reconnect button or by pressing the Windows key + K, the Windows taskbar icons (such as Power, Network, Sound, and so on) may stop responding.
Workaround
To work around this issue, do one of the following:

Restart your device.

Use Task Manager to stop and then restart the Explorer service and the DevicePicker service.
