Improvement and fixes

This security update contains an improvement and a fix for the following nonsecurity issue in SharePoint Server 2019 Language Pack:

  • Provides an advisory for SharePoint 2013 workflows.

  • Notifies that the ExecuteProxyUpdates feature will be disabled starting with the September 2026 Cumulative Update. Use the Enable-SPWebPartPagesProxyUpdates cmdlet to enable the feature for a site collection, or the Disable-SPWebPartPagesProxyUpdates cmdlet to disable it immediately.

  • Notifies that orphaned Remote Event Receivers (RERs) that do not have an app identifier will be blocked starting with the November 2026 Public Update. Use the Get-SPOrphanedRemoteEventReceiver cmdlet to identify affected RERs.

  • Disables file-backed Business Data Connectivity (BDC) model import by default to improve security. Use the Enable-BdcmFileImport PowerShell cmdlet to enable this functionality for a site collection.

  • Notifies that the ToolPane feature will be disabled starting with the September 2026 Public Update. Use the Enable-SPToolPane cmdlet to enable ToolPane for a site collection.
