SYMPTOM Is Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics GP compatible with Double Byte languages such as Japanese, Chinese, etc.?RESOLUTION Currently Dexterity does not support double byte character sets and because of this neither does Great Plains. Great Plains cannot be used with double byte languages today. If you install the application on Japanese Windows you will see that the behavior is fairly good, but don't be mislead by it. There are unresolved problems.Â
