After the security groups are created, all new and existing Windows authenticated users can be added to the appropriate group. On the domain, create two domain security groups. Add the Microsoft Forecaster administrators to one group, and add the Microsoft Forecaster users to the other group. Set up the permissions as follows:

Grant both groups access to the SQL Server.

Grant both groups access to the Microsoft Forecaster database and to the Microsoft Forecaster role.

Grant the Administrator group the db_owner permission for the Microsoft Forecaster database.
Note When you add users to Microsoft Forecaster 7.0, do not enter the security group. Add users by using their domain credentials.
