When you design a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form template, you can insert a picture or clip art, such as a logo or masthead, and then change its size or position. You can also set a picture or clip art as a background in a form template.
Tip
If you add a picture control to your form template, you enable users to insert pictures into that control, or links to a picture, when they fill out the form.

Add a background picture
When you design a form template, you can include colors or pictures in the background of the form template.
On the View menu, click View Properties.
Click the General tab.
Select the Use a background picture check box.
In the Add a background picture dialog box, select the picture you want, and then click OK.
If you want the image to appear as a watermark, select the Tile horizontally or Tile vertically check box in the View Properties dialog box.
Tip
To create a watermark effect in a form template, add a background picture that uses low saturation.
Select any additional options that you want.
Insert a picture
- Click in the form template where you want to insert a picture.
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File.
- Click the picture you want to insert.
- Click the arrow next to the Insert button, and then click Insert or Link to File.
Insert clip art
- Click in the form template where you want to insert clip art.
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click Clip Art.
- In the Search for box in the Clip Art task pane, type a word or phrase that describes the clip you want, or type in all or some of the file name of the clip, and then click Go.
- Select the clip you want from the search results.
Tip
To narrow your search, do any of the following:
- To limit the search results to a specific collection of clips, in the Search in box, click the collections you want to search.
- To limit search results to a specific type of media file, in the Results should be box, select the check box next to the types of clips you want to find.
Position a picture relative to text
- Right-click the picture, and then click Format Picture on the shortcut menu.
- Click the Text Wrapping tab.
- Click the text wrapping style you want.
Resize a picture
You can resize pictures by using either a mouse or specific measurements.
Resize a picture by using the mouse
- Click the picture you want to resize.
- Position the pointer over one of the sizing handles.
- Drag the handle until the object is the shape and size you want.
Resize a picture by using specific measurements
- Right-click the picture you want to resize, and then click Format Picture on the shortcut menu.
- Click the Size tab.
- If you want to ensure that the current proportions stay the same for the picture, select the Maintain proportions check box.
- Type the measurements you want in the Height and Width boxes.
