"Internet Explorer has stopped working" error message in Internet Explorer 11

are in intranet zone. When you go to a website in Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1, Internet Explorer 11 crashes and you receive the following error message:
Internet Explorer has stopped working.
To resolve this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update
