Debug break on Windows Server 2012 R2 with snapshots on a CSV volume

Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a server that runs Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • You have a Cluster Shared Volume (CSV).
  • You create one or more snapshots of this volume.
  • IO failures occur on the CSV volume and its snapshots at the same time.
  • After a while, one of the snapshots (or the CSV volume itself) is stuck in Draining state.
In this scenario, the CSV volume will be inaccessible until a failover occurs.
