SNACFG /DLURRETRYDELAY doesn't work if you use a delay value that is greater than 255 seconds

Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

  • You are running the command prompt utility SNACFG. (This utility is delivered together with Microsoft Host Integration Server 2013.)
  • You try to change the DLUR Retry timer by using the following command:

    SNACFG /DLURRETRYDELAY:<seconds>

In this scenario, the command works fine unless you use a delay value that is greater than 255 seconds.

In this case, the value is wrapped, and you cannot increase the delay to greater than 255 seconds.

Note This scenario works fine when you use SNA Manager.
Cause
This issue occurs because of an incorrect CAST of the value.
Resolution
The fix for this problem is included in cumulative update package 3 for Host Integration Server 2013. For more information about how to get the cumulative update package, see Cumulative update package 3 for Host Integration Server 2013.
