Symptoms

Assume that you have upgraded to Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 on an operating system that is in a high contrast theme. When you open a property browser in the Visual Studio Windows Forms designer, category names in the property grid will be rendered in black background color and you cannot read the category names.

Cause

This issue occurs because colors are changed to accommodate another scenario unexpectedly, where property grid has light background.

Resolution

To work around this issue, use a different high contrast theme
