Symptoms
The Intune Connector site system role in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager may not connect to the Intune service if the following conditions are true:

The Intune Connector is installed on a Central Administration site (CAS) or on a server that is remote from the top-level site (that is, from the CAS or from a stand-alone primary site).

The Intune Connector requires a proxy to access the Intune service.
Errors that resemble the following are logged in the dmpDownloader.log file. Note These entries are truncated for readability.
ERROR: AcknowledgeMessage Exception: [Microsoft.Management.Services.Common.ServiceTooBusyException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.TimeoutException: operation timed out for service: https://{intune_service_URL}/ - Operation ID (for customer support): {GUID}
Additionally, errors are logged in the Cloudusersync.log file that resemble the following:

Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have Service Pack 2 for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager or Service Pack 1 for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager installed.
Restart information
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
