This article describes Hotfix Package 1 for Microsoft User Experience Virtualization 2.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Note We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new hotfix release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous update package. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains the most necessary hotfixes.

This hotfix package fixes the following issue:

  • Issue 1

    If you have the Microsoft Outlook 2013 template for Microsoft User Experience Virtualization (UE-V) selected when you start Outlook 2013, Outlook may crash.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft Support. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
