Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You receive a call in Microsoft Skype for Business 2016.

  • You accept the call and the call starts.

  • You select Call Controls > Transfer, and then you search for a user.

  • You press and hold (or right-click) the user to generate a shortcut menu, which contains numbers for work, home, and mobile, for example.

When you select any number on the menu to transfer the call, or when you click outside the menu to dismiss the window, the client may crash.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the June 7, 2016, update (KB3115087) for Skype for Business 2016.
