Access your data

You can use the Export feature on your profile card to access a copy of all skills that are stored for you in Microsoft 365, including skills you previously deleted.

This feature is available from your profile card  in Outlook web app, the new  Outlook for Windows, Office.com, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint, and People Companion. You can access the profile card in multiple ways. For example:

1. Open your profile card in the Outlook web app or the new Outlook for Windows by searching for your own name. 

2. In the dropdown menu, select the profile icon that appears to the right of your name to open your profile card. 

Export Your Data

1. Select the ellipses on the top of your profile card. It's located to the right of the Update your profile button.

2. Select Export data.

You’ll see a confirmation message that your data is being prepared and downloaded. This download includes your skills and other profile data that you see on the profile card.

Note: We store skills that you previously deleted so that we don’t suggest them to you again. You can add skills from search to restore a skill you previously deleted.
