Microsoft Teams provides the ability to natively stream your meeting to an external audience using a Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) stream. Your Teams meeting can be easily broadcast to endpoints like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitch.
To stream with RTMP, you must first have the following:
-
LiveStreamingMode policy turned on for your account by your IT admin: Stream Teams meetings - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Docs
-
Be the meeting organizer.
-
Access to a streaming app, like Custom Streaming.
Note: Only one RTMP stream can be set up at a time. If you've added more than one streaming app to the meeting and start a second stream, the original stream will stop and the meeting output will begin on the newly started stream
