If you have a Microsoft account, such as an Outlook.com or Skype account, you can chat with friends and family in Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 for the web.
Chat or call in Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 for the web

At the top of the page, select the Skype icon
.

Search for a contact in the search box, or select a previous conversation under Recent. To start a new conversation with multiple people, select New chat.

To start a video call or an audio call, select the Start a video call or Start an audio call buttons in the chat window.
Note: Currently, video calls and audio calls in Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 for the web are only supported in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Change your chat notification settings

At the top of the page, select the Skype icon
.

Select the three dots next to the search box.

Select Notification settings.

Turn off the notifications you no longer want and select Save.
Manage your Skype contacts
To manage your Skype contacts, you'll need to sign in to Skype on your computer. For more information, see How do I find new contacts in Skype on desktop?
Report abusive content
Use Skype on your computer to block the contact and report the abuse. For more information about reporting abuse or unwanted contact on Skype, see the Skype Privacy and Security page.
