What it means If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber and you have the latest version of Office installed, you can use linked data types. Linked data types are not supported in earlier versions of Excel. The cells will either show an error, or be replaced with another similar data type. What to do In the Compatibility Checker, click Find to locate the cells containing the linked data types, then convert them to text before saving to an earlier file format. To convert a cell with a linked data type to text, right-click the cell with the data type, and then click Data Type > Convert to Text. |
