Using embed code, Stream video and audio files can easily be placed into non-Microsoft apps or third-party websites, as described here. For best results embedding in Microsoft apps (e.g., Yammer, SharePoint, etc.) use the app-specific instructions. 

Note: Currently, embedded media in third-party sites may not provide certain features (e.g., commenting, reporting issues). As an alternative, the Open in Browser button will enable viewing in Stream which supports all features.

These instructions are specifically for embedding media that is sourced from Stream. 

  1. In the Stream video page, select the Share button to open the drop-down menu, then select Embed code.
    ...

  2. Choose your playback options. 

    Start from: Optionally enter a time code HH:MM:SS where playback will begin. 
    Player size: Allows dynamic resizing in browser. 
    Autoplay: When in Off mode, user must click Play to start playback.
    Responsive: On allows user to control player size when resizing browser window.
    Show title: Determines whether the video/audio title shows during playback.

  3. Select Copy embed code

  4. Insert the code where applicable for your non-Microsoft website or third-party app.

These instructions are specifically for embedding your media that is sourced from OneDrive (for Business). To embed a file from OneDrive (for Consumer) please follow the steps here: Embed files directly into your website or blog.

  1. In the video page in OneDrive, select the […] menu, then choose Embed from the dropdown list.
