For best performance in PowerPoint, you should use Office hardware graphics acceleration. By default, this setting is enabled, but your system setup may differ from the default. If you disable hardware acceleration, you might encounter poor performance or error messages when you present slides.
Enable Office hardware graphics acceleration

Select File, and then select Options.

In the Options dialog box, select Advanced.

Under Display, clear the Disable Slide Show hardware graphics acceleration check box.

To apply the setting, select OK.
