The UserInitials field inserts the user's initials from the Initials box in the Word Options dialog box. To view the Initials box, click the File tab, click Options, and then click General. The Initials box is located under Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office.

Syntax

When you view the UserInitials field in your document, the syntax looks like this:

{ USERINITIALS ["NewInitials"] }

Note:  A field code tells the field what to show. Field results are what’s shown in the document after having evaluated the field code. To toggle between viewing the field code and the field code results, press Alt+F9.

Instructions

"NewInitials"

Inserts the initials you specify instead of the initials in the Initials box. NewInitials doesn't change the contents of the Initials box.
