Note:  If you are using a personal Whiteboard account, your whiteboards will not be stored in OneDrive. To learn more, see Differences between Azure and OneDrive for Business whiteboards.

Whiteboard automatically creates .whiteboard files in your OneDrive. To share a file in OneDrive:

  • Open OneDrive and go to the Whiteboards folder.

  • Right-click on the whiteboard file you want to share.

  • Select Share to send an email with the link to others in your organization. You can also copy the link to share in Microsoft Teams.

Note: You can only share whiteboards with other people in your organization. The ability to share whiteboards with guests outside of your organization is planned for a future release.
