You can block people from contacting you or adding you into any groups. However, you cannot delete them from your GroupMe contacts.
Important: If you have blocked a contact but they are still in a group with you, the blocked person can still send messages. You will need to leave the group to prevent the blocked person from sending messages.
To block a contact:

Select your profile picture, select Contacts

Select the contact you want to block, then select Block.

In the confirmation window, select BLOCK.
To unblock a contact:

Select your profile picture, select Contacts
. -
Scroll to the bottom of your contact list to find the blocked contacts.

Select the contact, then select Unblock User and confirm.
To block a contact:

Select the contact you want to block, then select Block.

In the confirmation window, select Block.
To unblock a contact:

Select your profile picture, select Contacts

Find the person in your contact list and select Unblock next to their name, then confirm.

To unblock a contact:

Scroll to the bottom of your contact list to find the blocked contacts.

Select the contact, then select Unblock and confirm.

In the confirmation window, select Yes.
To unblock a contact:

Scroll to the bottom of your contact list to find the blocked contacts.
