Insert app content in Microsoft Teams messages

Use apps in Microsoft Teams chat to add content, improve functionality, or personalize your conversation.

To add an app in Teams chat:

1. Select Chat   in Teams.

2. Select a conversation from your chat list.

3. Select Actions and apps   in the compose box.

   • Select an app from the suggestions.

   • Search for an app in Search for apps  .

   • Select Get more apps  to browse the full app library.

4. Follow the prompts to add the app. (You may be required to sign in with your app account credentials.)

5. Once added, the app's icon appears next to the message formatting options. 

6. To insert app content into a message, select the app icon and follow the prompts.
