Download Lync from the Microsoft 365 portal on to the computer you want to use it on. If you’re borrowing a computer, you can easily download Lync to it and just as easily uninstall Lync when you’re finished using that computer, by using the Windows Control panel.
After you install Lync, open it on the computer you installed it on (click Start >All Programs > Microsoft Office 2010), sign in, and get started.
Notes:
-
Lync might already be installed. To check, click Start >All Programs > Microsoft Office 2010. If Microsoft Lync 2010 is listed, click it, and sign in. If it (or Microsoft Office) isn’t listed, keep reading.
