Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You are using Master Data Services (MDS) in SQL Server 2017 on Windows.

  • You have a User A logged in first, and User A accesses Users and Groups functional area.

  • Then, User B logs in by using his login credentials and accesses Users and Groups functional area.

In this situation, User B will see User A's name displayed in his browser. 

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

       Cumulative Update 6 for SQL Server 2017
