The Microsoft Lists mobile apps for Android and iOS were retired in mid-November 2025. The app was removed from the App Store and Google Play. Existing users will get an error if they try to open the app. The apps supported Microsoft accounts for personal use (MSA) and Microsoft Entra work or school accounts. We recommend switching to the mobile web version, which offers more functionality and continues to be updated with latest improvements.Â
How this affects your organization
As of mid-November 2025, users can no longer install or use the Microsoft Lists mobile app. Your lists and data are not affected and continue to be available through Microsoft Lists on PC / desktop or through a mobile web browser.
To access Lists in a mobile browser, users can go to their SharePoint root site, which is typically https://[organization-name].sharepoint.com (for example, https://contoso.sharepoint.com). At the root site, tap the Microsoft Suite navigation icon in the top left corner.
If Lists is not in the list of apps, the user can select More apps from the bottom right corner and then tap Lists. Alternatively, shortcut link http://office.com/launch/Lists is also available to quickly access Lists.Â
What you need to do
No action is needed from admins. Please ensure users are aware of the change and direct them to use Microsoft Lists on desktop or mobile browsers.
