ISSUE
When using PowerPoint, Word or Excel with language pack en-gb (United Kingdom English), the application may close when a dialog window such as Text Direction options for a Text Box is displayed.
SCENARIOS
Here are a few examples of the scenarios that have caused the Office applications to close.

Choose Insert Shape. Select View -> Shape Fills -> More Fill Colors.

Press CTRL + K and select Target Frame.

In Microsoft Word, select Design -> Page Color -> choose Fill Effects, and select any menu item

Open a Word 97-2003 .doc file. Select Insert -> Word Art -> Choose any style in the dropdown.

In Microsoft Word, select Insert -> Text Box -> Simple Text box. Choose Shape Format -> Text Direction -> Text Direction Options.
STATUS: FIXED
This issue has been fixed in the Office Beta Channel version 2112 (Build 14712.20000) and newer.
Additional fixes for other Office channels will be releasing soon. This article will be updated when more information becomes available.
