Each person can choose the language in which they want to view Project for the web. Changing your display language doesn’t affect the language settings for anyone else.

If Project for the web does not support the display language, it will use the browser language. If Project for the Web does not support the language set in your browser, Project for the web will display its interface in an alternate language, specified for your browser language or English (United States).

To set your language and date format in Project for the web, see Change your display language and time zone in Microsoft 365 for Business. If you are using the Project app in Power Apps, see the following.

  1. At the top corner of your screen, select Setting, then open Personalization Settings.

  2. In the Set Personal Options dialog box, select the Formats tab and change Current Format to the format of your choice.

Note: Only the default date format option is currently supported for the Project app in Power Apps.
