Copilot is accessible directly in Outlook apps for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and the web as long as Connected Experiences is not turned off in Outlook privacy settings.
Sharing Copilot access across accounts
Important: This feature is rolling out in phases and is currently not available in new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook for Windows, Outlook.com, and Legacy Outlook for Mac.
Microsoft accounts with a Copilot Pro license
When any account that has access to Copilot Pro is logged into Outlook, Copilot features will be available for all Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, and MSN.com accounts that are also logged into Outlook on the same device.
Accounts that are ineligible for Copilot access or Copilot sharing:
-
Accounts with Connected Experiences in Outlook privacy settings toggled off
-
Accounts that do not meet age requirements for Copilot
-
Microsoft 365 Family subscriptions can be shared with up to 5 others. However, Copilot is only available to the person who sets up the subscription. Users who are part of the family will not have access to Copilot.
Work or school accounts with a Copilot license
When any work or school account that has a Copilot license is logged into Outlook, Copilot features will be available for all Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, and MSN.com accounts that are also logged into Outlook on the same device.
However, Copilot access will not be shared to other work or school accounts logged in on the device. You can only use Copilot with work or school accounts if those accounts have a Copilot license assigned by your organization.
