In an email message you're editing, select the Options tab on the ribbon, then select From.

You can use the From button to choose which account or shared mailbox is the sender of the message.

  1. In classic Outlook, create a new email message, or reply to or forward an existing message.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • If the message you're composing opens in a new window, select Options > From.

    • If the message you're composing opens in the reading pane, on the Message tab, select From.

The From line appears in your message and continues to do so in subsequent email messages until you turn off this option.
