Sign into Microsoft Edge
Need the new Microsoft Edge?
With the Edge browser launched, select Profile > Sign in to sync data.
Create a new profile
With Edge Chromium, you can add multiple profiles. Profiles allow multiple users to operate in a shared environment while maintaining access to their personalized browser settings, bookmarks, and extensions.
- Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Set up a new profile.
- Select Personal or Work or school.
- Choose one of the following:
- Sign in to sync data (recommended)
- Start without your data
- Select Confirm and start browsing.
The new profile opens in a separate Edge window.
Switch between profiles
- Select the Profile icon.
- Select the profile you want to use.
Edge opens that profile in a new window.
Remove a profile
- Select the Profile icon, then select Profile settings.
- Go to More profiles and select the delete button next to the profile you want to remove.
- Select Remove profile and confirm.
Use a guest profile
Use a guest profile for temporary browsing that doesn’t save history or data:
- Select the Profile icon.
- Select Browse as guest.
