TheĀ Microsoft 365 BasicĀ subscription offer may be included as a digital free offer in the Microsoft Store app in your purchased device. If your purchase PC includes a Microsoft 365 Basic offer,Ā you will be informed during the Windows OOBE process that your device comes with the offer.
If you want to start theĀ subscription by the offer included with your device, you should performĀ the steps at the either stage (Windows OOBE or the Microsoft Store app) following below.
Important:Ā TheĀ subscription offer will be expired if you will not start it withinĀ 180 daysĀ after the Windows is activated on your device. So, beĀ sure toĀ start itĀ as soon possible. If you want to make sureĀ the expiration date, you can make sure it in the Microsoft 365 Basic offerĀ shown under the "Included with device" tab in the Microsoft store app.

The first screen of the Windows OOBE opens

Connect to InternetĀ and then accept the Windows license agreement

Sign in WindowsĀ with your Microsoft account andĀ set up the Microsoft experiences

Explore your Microsoft 365 Basic subscriptionĀ screen opens to inform thatĀ your device comes with a Microsoft 365 Basic 12-monthĀ subscription offer

Select Continue button if you want to start the subscription (If you select Decline button in the screen, the steps toĀ startĀ theĀ subscription will beĀ skipped. You canĀ start the subscription in the Microsoft Store app after the Windows OOBE finished.)

Confirm your billing detailsĀ screenĀ opens (If the screenĀ opens with the "ā Add payment method", go to Step 8Ā toĀ 10Ā toĀ addĀ aĀ payment methodĀ into your Microsoft account. If you have alreadyĀ set aĀ payment methodĀ in your Microsoft account,Ā goĀ to Step 11.)

The Subscribe dialog opens with the string, "To get started, add aĀ payment instrument"Ā (If the dialog with thisĀ string opens, go to Step 6 and 7 to addĀ aĀ payment instrumentĀ inĀ your Microsoft account. If you have already addedĀ aĀ payment instrument in your Microsoft account,Ā goĀ to Step 8.)

Enter your payment instrument information and select Save button

The Subscribe dialog opens with your payment instrument

After the steps, the 12 monthsĀ subscription will start withĀ your Microsoft account from the day.
You can use the services of the Microsoft 365 Basic on yourĀ multiple devices. If you want to check the status of your subscription, please visit theĀ "Services & subscriptions"Ā in theĀ Microsoft account dashboard.
Note:Ā ThisĀ subscription willĀ startĀ with recurringĀ billing turnedĀ on by default. After the firstĀ year, you will be billedĀ forĀ next 12 monthsĀ subscription and your subscriptionĀ will be extendedĀ automatically.
