Where will my device contacts be visible after they are synced in Teams?
-
You will be able to search for your contacts within the Teams app across all your devices.
-
There will be a folder located on Outlook.com, named for your mobile device. The folder allows your contacts to be discoverable on other devices that are signed in to Teams. You can find it in the People section of your Outlook.com mailbox, under My contacts, then under Folders.
Can I delete or make changes to my device contacts on Outlook.com?
The contacts that are searchable in Teams are a direct reflection of the contacts in your phone's address book. Any contacts you delete or changes you make from the device contacts folder on Outlook.com will not reflect in Teams. You can delete these contacts by turning Sync my device contacts off. Your synced contacts will be removed from Outlook.com but will remain in your device's address book.
