Uninstall Office automatically

Choose the web browser you're using for exact steps on how to download and run the automated solution.

1. Download the automated tool.

2. At the bottom of the browser window, select Run to launch the SetupProd_OffScrub.exe file.

3. Select the version you want to uninstall, and then select Next.

4. Follow through the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your computer.

5. After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.

6. If you need to reinstall Office, select the version you want to install and follow those steps: Microsoft 365, Office 2019, Office 2016, Office 2013, Office 2010, or Office 2007.

Internet Explorer

1. Download the automated tool.

2. In the lower-lower left corner right-click SetupProd_OffScrub.exe > Open.

3. Select the version you want to uninstall, and then select Next.

5. After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining steps.

6. If you need to reinstall Office, select the version you want to install and follow those steps: Microsoft 365, Office 2019, Office 2016, Office 2013, Office 2010, or Office 2007.

Firefox

1. Download the automated tool.

2. Select Save File, and then click OK.

3. From the upper-right of the FireFox browser window, select the downloads arrow and then select SetupProd_OffScrub.exe.

4. Select the version you want to uninstall, and then select Next.

5. Follow through the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your computer.

6. After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.
