You can use iCloud for Windows to synchronize your calendar and contacts between your iOS or Mac devices and Outlook.
Note
iCloud for Windows is a third-party application supported by its provider. For more information, go to Access your iCloud Mail, Calendar, and Contacts in third-party apps. For assistance with the iCloud for Windows app, contact Apple Support directly.
Select a tab option below for the version of Outlook you're using. What version of Outlook do I have?
In new Outlook for Windows, you don't have to install the iCloud for Windows app to sync mail, calendar, and contacts. You can add your iCloud account directly in account setup:
- In new Outlook for Windows, select File, and then Settings
. - Select Accounts, Your accounts, and then select Add Accounts.
- Enter your iCloud email address (for example, name@icloud.com), then select Continue.
- Sign in with your Apple account and complete two-factor authentication when prompted.
- Review and accept the permissions requested, then select Done.
Your iCloud mail, calendar, and contacts begin syncing. Your iCloud calendar appears in the Calendar view, and your contacts appear in the People view.
Tip
By signing in with your Apple account, you no longer need to generate an app-specific password.

Troubleshooting
The sync Contacts and Calendars option is missing
- If the iCloud for Windows app doesn't show the Contacts and Calendars option, it might skip the option because the app didn't detect a supported installation of classic Outlook for Windows on the PC. To sync your iCloud calendar and contacts on these devices, use new Outlook for Windows and add your iCloud account directly.
- iCloud for Windows doesn't have a native ARM64 version. On ARM-based Windows devices, it runs by using x86 emulation. As a result, you might experience slower performance or find that some features don't work as expected.
