The OneNote feed conveniently combines your notes from different apps — including Samsung Notes, Sticky Notes, and OneNote. Your feed is available in OneNote, Outlook.com, and Outlook on the web.

Note: The OneNote feed automatically syncs all of the notes that are associated with the same Microsoft account (or your work or school account) that you are using with OneNote. If you use Samsung Notes on your mobile device and want to include those notes in the OneNote feed, see Sync Samsung Notes to your OneNote feed.

Turn on the OneNote feed

Do the following:

  1. Open OneNote (desktop), OneNote on the web, or OneNote for Windows 10 and make sure you’re signed into your Microsoft (or your work or school) account.

  2. Near the top right corner of the OneNote app window, click the Open feed icon to display the Feed pane.

When the Feed pane opens, you’ll see your most recently edited notes for your current account. In your feed, you’ll find your OneNote pages and sticky notes. If you use Samsung Notes on your mobile device and want to include those notes in the OneNote feed, see Sync Samsung Notes to your OneNote feed.

Why are some notes missing from the OneNote feed?

The following types of notebook pages are not shown in the feed, but they can still be accessed directly by navigating to them in your notebooks:

  • Pages that are protected with a password.

  • Pages linked to restricted accounts, such as government institutions.

  • Pages that rely on Microsoft connected experiences but that have been disabled by your organization's IT administrator.

  • Ensure that you're using the latest version of OneNote for Android by checking for any available updates under My apps and games in the Google Play Store.
