What version of OneDrive am I using?

You can look up your OneDrive version—you'll find the steps below for Windows and Mac.

  1. Select the cloud icon in the taskbar. A blue cloud icon will open OneDrive for work or school, and a white cloud icon will open OneDrive for home.

  2. Select Help & Settings.

  3. Select Settings > About.

  4. Look under About Microsoft OneDrive to see if the build number says "64-bit." Note that it also indicates if the build is a preview.

  1. On the menu bar at the top of the screen, select the cloud icon. A blue cloud icon will open OneDrive for work or school, and a white cloud icon will open OneDrive for home.

  2. Select Help & Settings > Preferences.

  3. Select About and look under About Microsoft OneDrive for your OneDrive version.
