Text placement mode preference
With PowerScribe One, there is a preference for how the system places dictated text into your reports, based on how you interact with the application:
- Automatic is the default preference. It allows users to dictate a section of the report, then use the mouse to position the cursor just before the dictation ends. The full dictation text will render and appear at each cursor location in the report.
- SpeakAhead enables users to dictate without stopping while navigating between AutoText fields with the microphone button. The expected result is that each time the position of the cursor changes, the next part of the dictation will appear in that location. The remaining dictation appears in the final cursor location in the report.
