What features can I turn off for Analyze Content and Download Content in my Privacy Settings?

Applies To
Outlook for Android Outlook for iOS

If you are using a free account (such as Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo, IMAP, POP3), you can turn off features that analyze your content or download online content. In Outlook mobile, these are the features that will turn off.

Download Content:

  • FAQs (Help)
  • Rich locations
  • Calendar Apps (Facebook, Evernote, Meetup)
  • Interesting Calendars
  • Bing Maps, Google Maps, and Apple Maps

Analyze Content:

  • Rich locations
  • Suggested Replies

Note

  • If you have Calendar Apps, they will be unsubscribed from your Outlook Mobile app if you turn off the Download Content setting.
  • If you are using anĀ Outlook.com account, you will also be turning off features in other Office apps you use, as this privacy setting roams across Office. For more information, see Connected experiences in Microsoft 365.
