Text-to-speech (TTS) is the ability of your computer to play back written text as spoken words. Depending upon your configuration and installed TTS engines, you can hear most text that appears on your screen in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Within Windows 10 and Windows 11 settings, you can install different language packs to translate and read content aloud in different languages. To install a new language, Open the Language or region settings. Open settings. Select Add a language. Search for a language in the search bar or choose one from the list.

Outlook replaces the message text with translated text. After you've translated the message, you can select Show original to see the message in the original language or Turn on automatic translation to always translate messages to your preferred language. In the message, select Never translate.

Present content. To present content in a meeting, select Share in your meeting controls. Present your entire screen or a window. Collaborate with others in real-time by live sharing a PowerPoint file, Excel file, or Whiteboard.
