If you receive a phone call claiming to be from Microsoft, or see a pop-up window on your PC with a fake warning message and a phone number to call and get your “issue” fixed, it’s better to be safe and not click any links or provide any personal information.

Contact Support. For technical support, go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter your problem and select Get Help. Check the Xbox services, games, and apps for any service outages.

Try closing both the Xbox app and the third-party extension you’re using like the EA, Riot, or Ubisoft apps, and then relaunch the Xbox app. If that’s unsuccessful, try disabling and re-enabling the extension in the Xbox app by selecting your profile picture and going to Settings > Extensions.
