The Microsoft Authenticator app helps you sign into your accounts when you're using two-step verification.

Right-click on a friend’s gamertag, and then select Open chat. Select Options (…) at the top, select Send a message, enter a gamertag or choose someone (or several people) from your friends list, and then select Start chat. Enter your message in the box. When you’re done, press Enter.
