Get started with Copilot. To get started, open the Copilot app from the Start menu or use the Copilot icon if present on your Windows taskbar. If your device keyboard includes a dedicated Copilot key, you can also use it to launch Copilot.

Block or remove a bot in Microsoft Teams. To stop a bot from participating in a one-on-one chat, first find the chat name in your chat list, then click More options > Mute. If you want to remove a bot entirely from a channel, find the channel name, then click More options > Manage team.

Chat with the bot and use it to assign tasks, reminders, or whatever task the bot assists with. To chat with a bot in Microsoft Teams, start a new chat and put the name of the bot in the To field.

When you join a meeting, select Copilot to open it on the right of the meeting view. Copilot can generate notes, list tasks, and much more. And remember, other people in the meeting can’t see your conversation with Copilot. After the meeting, Copilot won’t be available in the meeting’s Recap tab.

Record game clips and take screenshots. While you’re playing a game, press the Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar. Choose Widget Menu > Capture. Choose Start recording, Take screenshot, or Record last…. Record last… turns the most recent moments of play into a game clip when background recording is turned on.
