If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.

If you do need to replace your security information, make sure you add new information first. If you request removal of all security information in your account, the account is put into a restricted state for 30-days. Your information doesn’t actually change in this time.

A Microsoft 365 group is different from a contact group (formerly called a distribution list). A contact group is a set of email addresses that you can use to send an email message or meeting invitation to everyone at once. To create a contact group, see Create a contact group.
