Before you begin, make sure your PC or Mac meets the system requirements. If you already redeemed a product key, you're simply reinstalling the apps, or you know you have an assigned license through work or school, you can skip ahead and go to the section sign in to download and install Microsoft 365 or Office.

Windows 10. To find downloads on your PC: Select File Explorer from the taskbar, or press the Windows logo key + E. Under Quick access, select Downloads. Note: If necessary, go to the View tab, select Navigation pane, and ensure that Navigation pane is checked.

Use the Office offline installer to install Office 2016 or Office 2013 if you don't have an active Internet connection or you're having problems with slow speed or unreliable connections.

From the Overview page, select Office apps and on that page, find the Microsoft 365 product you want to install and select Install. To install Microsoft 365 in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, use the dropdown to find more options.

There are several types of files you can download from the web—documents, pictures, videos, apps, extensions and toolbars for your browser, among others. When you select a file to download, Internet Explorer will ask what you want to do with the file.

How to install programs from online sources on Windows 10. From the internet: You should download and install programs only from trusted publishers and retail websites. In your web browser, select the link to the program. Select Save or Save as to download the program.
