Go to File > Options > Proofing and select AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoCorrect tab, select or clear Replace text as you type. Turn AutoCorrect on or off in your document.

Add or remove AutoCorrect entries in Outlook - Microsoft Support
Go to the AutoCorrect tab. In the Replace box, type a word or phrase that you often misspell. In the With box, type the correct spelling of the word. Click Add. Note: You can add multiple entries that point to the same "With" text. Just add a separate entry for each change.

Turn spell check on or off for Word 2013 - Microsoft Support
Here's how. Click File > Options > Proofing, clear the Check spelling as you type box, and click OK. To turn spell check back on, repeat the process and select the Check spelling as you type box. To check spelling manually, click Review > Spelling & Grammar. But do remember to run spell check.

Turn spell check on or off in Word for the web - Microsoft Support
Select the text where you'd like to disable spell check or press Ctrl+A to select the entire document. On the Review tab, click Editor, and then click Set Proofing Language. In the Language box, click Don’t check spelling or grammar, and then click OK. Remember to run spell check.
