Add-ins are supplemental programs that add custom commands or custom features to Office programs. You can obtain add-ins for PowerPoint at Popular Office downloads or on third-party vendor websites. If you are a developer, you can write your own custom add-in programs by using Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

POP, IMAP, and SMTP settings for Outlook.com. If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.

Add-ins provide optional commands and features for Microsoft Excel. By default, add-ins are not immediately available in Excel, so you must first install and (in some cases) activate these add-ins so that you can use them. Some add-ins are built in to Excel, such as Solver and the Analysis ToolPak.

Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall. Uninstall in Settings. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features . Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.

You can now get Office Add-ins from the Store or use add-ins you already have from right within recent versions of Word for Mac and Excel for Mac. There are two kinds of add-ins: Office Add-ins from the Office Store (which use web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and add-ins made by using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Click File > Get Add-ins. Alternatively, you can click Home > Add-ins. You can directly install add-ins from this page or select More Add-ins to explore. In the Office Add-ins box, click Store tab. Browse for the add-in you want.

Outlook add-ins provide solutions to help you better interact with Outlook and complete tasks on your messages and appointments without leaving Outlook. Some add-ins are installed by your email administrator, but you can install other ones from the Office Store.
