Step 1: Complete unlinking steps on your Android and Surface Duo devices. Start by checking which mobile app your Android device has. Refer to this list to see if your device supports Link to Windows (pre-installed). If your device is not in this list, skip to the next section.

If you see a list of Android devices, choose the one you wish to pair with Phone Link to access your favorite apps, respond to texts, make calls, view photos, and more from your PC. Grant permissions on the Link to Windows app on your Android device. You are all set to use Phone Link.

Desktop Mobile. Find Teams on the web at https://teams.microsoft.com. To use Teams, you need a Microsoft 365 account with a Business or Enterprise Microsoft 365 license plan.

What you can do with photos. The Phone Link lets you view the photos you’ve taken with your Android device. In addition, you can: Save a photo to your PC. Edit a photo from your Android device on your PC. Delete a photo from your Android device on your PC. Share a photo with someone else.

While you can drag content between your phone and your PC, not all apps will accept content you want to transfer. If an app doesn’t accept your content, you can try using phone screen to transfer it instead. You can’t drag and drop files between your mobile apps from your PC.

The recommended (and easiest) way to get SP1 is to turn on automatic updating in Windows Update in Control Panel and wait for Windows 7 to notify you that SP1 is ready to install. It takes about 30 minutes to install, and you'll need to restart your computer about halfway through the installation.

To use voice typing, you'll need to be connected to the internet, have a working microphone, and have your cursor in a text box. Once you turn on voice typing, it will start listening automatically. Wait for the "Listening..." alert before you start speaking.

Some apps let you manage background activity, which determines what they can do when they’re in the background and not actively in use. Apps that can run in the background can send and receive notifications, sync information, and stay up to date.

From the Overview page, select Office apps and on that page, find the Microsoft 365 product you want to install and select Install. To install Microsoft 365 in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, use the dropdown to find more options.
