Cast to a Windows PC from another Windows PC. On the PC you'd like to project from, select Start > Settings > System > Projecting to this PC . Under Add the “Wireless Display” optional feature to project to this PC, select Optional features.

Select Start > Settings > System > Display > Advanced display . Next to Choose a refresh rate, select the rate you want. The refresh rates that appear depend on your display and what it supports. Select laptops and external displays will support higher refresh rates.

To pin apps to the taskbar. Select Start , select the arrow next to All apps, right-click the app, then select More > Pin to taskbar. If the app is already open on the desktop, press and hold (or right click) the app's taskbar icon, and then select Pin to taskbar.

Extensions designed for Google Chrome can also be used in Microsoft Edge. In Microsoft Edge, go to the Chrome Web Store. Select Allow extensions from other stores in the banner at the top of the page, then select Allow to confirm. Select the extension you want to add and select Add to Chrome.

Remove or block notifications in Edge settings. In Edge, go to Settings and more in the upper right corner of your browser window. Select Settings > Cookies and site permissions and select Notifications. Under Allow, you will find a list of websites that are currently sending you notifications.

Use the Add a language feature to install another language for Windows 11 to view menus, dialog boxes, and supported apps and websites in that language. To do this: Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.
