Notes: You don't need a smartphone to receive a security code. Text messages may come from either "MSFT", a short number, or a mobile number.If you have requested a security code, you can trust the message that arrives.

If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.. In the Rule Address dialog, under Address Book, select the contact list that contains the address you want to forward to.. If you can't sign into your Microsoft account, most issues can be identified by our sign-in helper tool. Tip: If your can't get the code by email or phone, you might be able to enter an email address that's different from the one you're trying to recover. Go to the Recover your account page and follow the prompts. Enter your current password, enter your new password, and then select Save.

If you decide you don't want the calendar you created, right-click the calendar and select Remove. Other calendars. You can view more than one calendar at a time, add other calendars, choose which calendar to display, and create new calendars. View options.

Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account. It isn't possible to create a new alias using @hotmail, @live.com, or @msn.com.
