This troubleshooter assists customers whose machines are not yet updated to the latest release, Windows 10 Version 1607. This update will initially be released only to a small set of targeted customers. This set will expand over time. Windows users can start the assistant from this article.

Instead of fix-it tools, Windows 10 uses troubleshooters to help you solve problems with your PC. To run a troubleshooter: Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, or select the Find troubleshooters shortcut at the end of this topic, and then select Additional troubleshooters.

In some editions of Windows 10, it's included as an optional feature that you can enable. To do that, select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Manage optional features > Add a feature > Windows Media Player, and select Install. Enable Windows Media Player. DVD playback isn't included.

How to open MSConfig in Windows 10. On the Search bar on the taskbar, enter system configuration. Select System Configuration from the list of results. For more info, see MSConfig the System Configuration tool.

It should appear either under Cameras or Imaging devices. Right-click the webcam device and select Update driver. Select Browse my computer for drivers.
